What documents are required for new account application?

We require a copy of valid government-issued photo ID and a proof of address.

You will need to submit a copy of a valid government-issued photo ID such as a Passport, National ID Card or Driver's License. This document will be used to verify your identity.

In addition, you are required to provide a document that proves your address and that has been issued within the last 6 months. Documents such as utility bills (water, gas, electricity) and/or bank statements are accepted. Please note that a PO Box address is not accepted.

As part of the onboarding process, you will be required to verify your identity and submit your documents through our online verification tool. We ask you to submit a clear and legible copy of your documents for review.

Your documents might be rejected due to the following reasons:

  • The document is expired;
  • Documents are unclear or incomplete;
  • There is unfavorable lighting casting a glare or shadow on the documents;
  • The documents are detected as being screenshots.
